17 March 2025 - How has a waterway shaped Delft’s industrial identity? The exhibition Industry along the Schie: From Yeast to Delft Blue – Connected by Water takes visitors on a journey through centuries of craftsmanship, trade, and innovation. On Wednesday evening, the exhibition was officially opened by Alderman Frank van Vliet. With 126 unique objects, personal stories, and surprising cross-pollinations, the exhibition shows how the Schie connected Delft’s industries and remains a source of innovation. Now on display at the Royal Delft Museum until August 17, 2025.

Royal Delft presents exhibition: Industry along the Schie

3 March 2025 - On March 12, 2025, Mayor Marja van Bijsterveldt will officially open the new exhibition Industry on the Schie: From Yeast to Delft Blue – Connected by Water. This exhibition highlights the industrial history of Delft and the crucial role of the Schie River as a connecting factor throughout the centuries. The exhibition at the Royal Delft Museum is a collaboration with the province of South Holland, TU Delft Hortus Botanicus, Expertise Platform Water, Erfgoed Delft, and Royal Delft – it can be visited until August 17, 2025.

2 July 2024 - Royal Delft Museum opent op dinsdag 2 juli 2024 de tentoonstelling ‘Delfts blauw: ode aan het ambacht. Maken en vernieuwen.’ Deze presentatie biedt een inkijk in de wereld van Royal Delft en het bijzondere maakproces van ambachtelijk gemaakt Delfts blauw. Want zelfs in een tijd van technologische ontwikkelingen blijft de kunst van Delfts aardewerk ontstaan door de handen van de makers. Vakmanschap dat getuigt van passie, precisie en doorzettingsvermogen. De tentoonstelling is te bezichtigen tot en met 5 januari 2025 bij Royal Delft Museum.

Royal Delft Museum presents: Picasso. Ceramic Magician

3 October 2023 - Delft, October 3, 2023 – Royal Delft Museum, the factory museum for Delft Blue, opens the new and exclusive exhibition: Picasso on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Magic Ceramist. Pablo Picasso was one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century and in the year that marks the 50th anniversary of his death and that this milestone is being celebrated throughout the Western world, the museum is presenting a unique selection from Picasso's oeuvre with loans from various private collections and from Dutch museums. On the occasion of the exhibition, a book with the corresponding title about Picasso's life as a ceramicist and his ceramic work has been published by W-Books. The exhibition can be seen at Royal Delft Museum from October 10, 2023 to May 19, 2024.
