Urban Blue – from Bricks to Tiles

In Urban Blue – from Bricks to Tiles, the Royal Delft Museum brings the traditional world of Delft Blue into dialogue with international street art creativity. Six street artists from Mexico, South Africa, France, Indonesia, Brazil, and the Netherlands took part in two residency periods, translating Delft’s ceramic heritage into a fresh, contemporary visual language. The exhibition was created in collaboration with STRAAT Museum, Amsterdam’s museum for street art and graffiti.
