Experience the craft of Delft Blue yourself during one of the workshops at Royal Delft Museum. Discover how the world-famous Delft Blue is made and paint your own tile or plate for your home.
The painting workshops take place every week from Tuesday to Sunday at 2 p.m. The workshops are suitable for children aged 7 and over. You can make online reservations for groups of up to 26 people. If you would like to attend a painting workshop with more people, please email events@royaldelft.com.
Pick up tiles painting workshop
Due to the ongoing renovation work in our factory, we are experiencing delays in our production. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to change this. As soon as we can send your artwork or you can pick it up, you will receive an email from us. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
€ 37,50 per person (museum entrance excluded)
Would you like to paint your own Delft Blue tile wisdom? It is possible during the painting workshop! Choose one of the Royal Delft decorations or make a design yourself. You paint a tile with the traditional black paint. When fired, the color changes to the well-known Delft Blue. You can pick up the tile after about 2 weeks or have it sent to your home address (shipping costs not included).
€ 32,50 per person (museum entrance excluded)
This workshop differs from the regular painting workshop because blue paint is used. This means you can take your tile home immediately afterwards.
€ 27,50 per person (museum entrance excluded)
This workshop is especially for children from 7 to 12 years old and can only be booked in combination with a traditional tile painting workshop or DIY tile painting workshop. A parent or responsible person must always be present during the painting workshop.

Come make your own Christmas ornament during our Christmas painting workshop! Choose from different shapes such as a Christmas bell, ball or drop. On the day itself you decide what you want to paint. Go for one of our Royal Delft decorations or design something unique yourself. You paint your design with traditional black paint. After baking, the color transforms into the recognizable Delft Blue. You can pick up your Christmas ornament after approximately 2 weeks or have it delivered to your home address (shipping costs not included).
