Brushes gently touch the white pottery, while a little further away clay is poured into handmade molds. Here, at Royal Delft, craftsmen have been creating the iconic Delft Blue for almost 400 years.
Royal Delft, founded in 1653, is the last remaining pottery factory from the 17th century in Delft that still makes Delft Blue according to age-old traditions. During a visit to Royal Delft Museum, in addition to the factory, you will also discover the museum rooms with an extensive historical and modern collection of Delft Blue. Learn all about the history, craft and innovation of this royal museum.
