During this special spring break workshop, children enter the world of the painters and discover there is much more to it than just painting!
After a short express tour through the museum and a demonstration in the factory, the children get to work in the studio. Here they choose a design and punch their own stencil on a punching mat, just like painters used to do in the past, and still do today.
Using their handmade stencil, they transfer the design onto a tile and paint it in blue.
From tiny holes to a real artwork, and of course, the tile can be taken home at the end.
Select monday February 16 as date to book the workshop.
Parents are welcome to visit the museum (admission not included) or spend time in the brasserie or shop during the workshop.
Age: 7–12 years
Price: €15 (museum admission included)
Duration: 90 minutes
Please note: this is a pilot workshop and the price reflects this.
